The sampling procedure

Step 1

Preparation before sampling

STEP 1

1) The swab is designed to collect mucosal cells from your pet’s mouth.
2) The swab is a single-use, disposable device. Please use a new swab for each pet.
3) Ensure your pet does not eat or drink for at least one (1) hour before sampling.
4) During sampling, avoid rubbing the swab against your pet’s teeth.
5) Prevent your pet from biting or chewing the swab during sampling.

Step 2

Start sampling

STEP 2

Follow the provided instructions to collect your cheek cell samples:

Open the pouch and remove the swab. Do not touch the sampling tip with your fingers

Gently rub the swab inside the pet’s cheek (8-10 times)

Insert the swab into the tube with liquid.

Break the stick at the marked line.

Tightly close the cap.

Fill out the info card and return sample to us at room temperature.

Step 3

Submitting your sample

STEP 3

To ensure sample quality, please send the swab to the address below as soon as possible after sample collection.
A courier bag has been prepared inside the box. Please place the swab back into the box and return it together with the card.

Step 4

Upload your pet’s photo

STEP 4

Please upload a clear photo of your pet (minimum resolution: 1080px) using the link below. The photo will be included in your personalized report.
When uploading, rename the photo file as “PetName_OwnerName” (e.g., ShuBing_EvonTan).

Sample shipment address:
